  1. OMG. This is terrible news! :(

I can’t believe Ze’Neon let you guys down. I will be interested to hear more about the how and why this happened. Perhaps the harness got pinched between the skid plate or something? It might be worth considering elimination of that sensor in the future. I know that, on the 2GNTs anyway, it merely monitors cat function. You can do a simple resistor mod to eliminate CEL and leave the harness inside the cabin.

I hope your running hard at Prescott is only hindered by the sourcing and installation of an ECU, guys.

    Cheers.

  2. Jeez Brian – We didn’t flip it into a ditch or anything. :p

Harry and I already have a plan for the sensor circuit. We’re going to slap in an ECU tonight and see if she’ll start. Other then that we had no mechanical issues. The front end is SOLID.
We’ll be more then ready for our run at Prescott!

  3. Well, excuuuuuuuse me! I was just a bit bummed that Ze’Neon DNF’d at the 1yr mark. No doubt this affects team goals for the season, but I’m sure a comeback can (and will) be staged. It’s kinda funny – I don’t particularly care who wins the WRC this season, but I’m finding myself more and more wrapped up in the results of CRS rallies.

Glad to hear things are solid. It ocurrs to me that it might be a funny idea to have a switch on the dahs to switch between “blitzkrieg” and “berserker” modes. It wouldn’t have to be connected to anything, but Ze’Neon could engage in a bit of psychological warfare, could it not? (If you think this idea is ridiculous, just chalk it up to my being retarded, okay?) ;)
