Toyota Yaris TS not for USA?

please,
PLEASE bring the 1.8L Yaris TS 5 door to the USA.
I would buy it tomorrow.
I will use it to drive to San Diego.
I will get 36MPG for 3 years.
I would then turn it into a rally car and jump it.
Yes I am totally serious.

  2. I would settle for the 3 door liftback IF they slapped the 1.8 in there.

    Actually… If they don’t bring us the 1.8 I’ll probably be picking one up next year anyway. The 1.5 will have to do. 107HP in 2200lbs Yaris = 134HP in 2700lbs Neon. I was planning a Production class head turner.

    But – the math with the 1.8 is better: 130HP in 2200lbs.
    More hop up parts for that motor and I might even go group 2!
