Put miles on #megasquirt tonight. Had to rely on rallycomputer for speed / distance :)
I’m getting a good VSS signal, but I still have to configure it. In the mean time the Brantz is accurate for now. Also got the battery charging!
Found out the hard way ’03+ 2GN’s alt volt control reversed.
Regulator number 2 going in tonight. I’ve been testing with an 11 volt system and I need power! No voltage regulator built in to the megasquirt, so we’re using an old-school part BWD R296.

First drive with #megasquirt a success!
It was short run around the block. I’m out of gas and I still need to hook up the voltage regulator, but lots of data to go through. Goodbye stock PCM, hello standalone.
One down, two to go. Work on #megasquirt continues.
The wiring is starting to come together. The main engine harness is done and we’ll be road testing soon.

I’m building a 2GN NGC PCM wire guide as I go. Going to start with the stock motor in place to learn the system. MS3 with MS3X.
